For the past several years, Globeateliê (Gâ) has enjoyed an amazing collaborative relationship with Levi Strauss & Co (LS&Co.), acting as the company’s Store Design & Construction Strategic Consultant and working closely with their Global Development group.
We have collaborated with the Brand in the creation of an Store Design Executive Playbook, the first publication of which was in Spring 2023.
Chapter 02
“Ga approach”
Gâ plays a crucial role in supporting LS&Co. during their strategic store design decision-making process by taking into account global retail trends such as Digital Transformation, Sustainability, and Resilience. Gâ's consultancy is founded on extensive experience in the retail sector, spanning both corporate and consultant perspectives.
Global delivery efficiency
Gâ leads the Project Delivery Efficiency program of LS&Co. This is a global initiative in which Globeateliê and various internal partners collaborate with regional teams to observe, document, and recommend improvements to optimize the project delivery process. As part of this work tream, Globeateliê performs interviews and has fact-finding discussions with leaders in different global regions, tracks local processes and identifies pain points, and works with LS&Co Global to provide action-focused recommendations. The purpose of the program is to create a durable retail rollout process that delivers on Transformation strategies, honing store build cost and timing by reducing complexity.
Sustainability
Gâ supports the Sustainability team of LS&Co. in the identification of holistic sustainability strategies for reducing the environmental impact of the store-fit outs (both Franchisee and Own & Operated) and the building assets of the company, based on the existing Sustainability Playbook of LS&Co. Gâ supports the Sustainability team in the creation of processes and documents that define concrete actions towards sustainable development. Gâ creates an implementation plan where the most urgent actions are defined in terms of impact, effort and cost.

As a global strategic consultant to LS&Co, Gâ offers a range of services aimed at optimizing and improving global processes for both the Own and Operated fleet and the franchisee network. Our's successful support of the brand has led to the expansion of its service portfolio each year. It began with Global Delivery Efficiency, Store Design Executive Playbook, then progressed to International Revit Masters update and global implementation, and now includes Sustainability and Resilience consulting. Moreover, our team has earned the trust of the Global Store Design Team, serving as a reliable advisor. By connecting the dots between various processes, Gâ efficiently optimizes global operations and enhances the timing and cost-effectiveness of projects.
