Chapter 01

Since early 2022, Globeateliê has been a trusted architectural consultant for Tesla, overseeing a variety of remodeling projects across the United States. These projects cover multiple typologies, including the renovation of collision centers, service centers, and supercharger lounges. Gâ has provided comprehensive support to Tesla, including architectural design, site assessment and due diligence, 3D scanning, and obtaining necessary permits. What is more, the Brand engaged us to lead efforts on their high-profile flagship store at Madison Avenue. We supported the Client's internal team for design development, scheduling and budgeting. We were trusted advisor for the management of the general contractor, owner's vendors and the Landlord and successfully accompanied the Brand to the project Handover.

Permitting has been a fundamental aspect of Gâ's involvement, as we have liaised with state, local, and city-level agencies to secure full approvals for the entire scope of work. Furthermore, we have developed complete schematic, detailed design, and construction design sets of drawings, adhering to Tesla's quality and standards. In addition to one-off remodels, our team has supported on some key Tesla national initiatives to increase service capacity and support growth for future infrastructure.

Chapter 03

Globeateliê has effectively navigated local permitting and approvals pitfalls, addressed unforeseen infrastructure inadequacies, and managed structural and MEP challenges to coordinate the execution of robust construction documents and sketches during construction, contributing to the timely execution of projects.

These interventions significantly improved Tesla’s regional logistics for automotive repairs.
